Dietitian - Temporary Full Time [BC DT 1.00] AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews and Monashee Mews

Position Overview

The Dietitian is an integral part of the care team, responsible for collaborating on resident care to address nutritional and dietary needs. This role is vital in supporting residents to achieve optimal nutritional health through assessments, education, and personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct assessments of residents’ nutritional status and requirements.
  2. Develop and implement nutritional care plans, providing education and counseling to residents.
  3. Offer nutrition expertise and information to residents, families, staff, and the community.
  4. Maintain clinical records of nutrition care programs, and prepare reports and evaluations based on collected data.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and/or Food Sciences from an accredited Canadian university, along with a dietetic internship.
  2. Eligibility and/or registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
  3. Minimum of 1 year of clinical nutrition experience in healthcare and gerontology.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.
  5. Strong planning, follow-up, time management, and organizational skills.

Wage Range: $39.56 - $49.39 per hour, salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
