Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.


The shift pattern for this position is Mon- Friday.


This is a fixed-term post. Length of post will be confirmed.

An exciting opportunity within NHSGGC Dietetic Service for a Band 5 clinical rotational dietitian. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and development of a clinically effective dietetic service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Clinical rotations across the adult dietetic service include Oncology, Rehabilitation/Neurosciences, Surgery/critical care, Respiratory/Medical/Gastroenterology, and the Pharmacy Services Prescribing Support Unit (PPSU). Delivering care in accordance with Service Standards, National Professional Standards of Practice, and the Health and Care Professions Council Standard of Conduct Performance and Ethics. There are 14 rotations, and each rotation is for up to 9 months.


Applicant requires minimum education to BSc Dietetics qualification, registration with Health Care Professionals Council, member of British Dietetic Association, and PVG membership scheme / Disclosure Scotland.
