Job summary

Caressant-Care Nursing And Retirement Homes Limited is seeking a motivated student for a part-time role at our Ontario locations. This opportunity is designed for students and offers flexible hours under the applicable collective agreement.

You will help care for residents with compassion, attend to duties as directed, and complete required training such as the Food Handler Training Program (or commit to obtain it within the required period). The starting wage is CAD 18.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Training Program or commitment to obtain within a specified period under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations
• Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
• Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
• Must meet the required credentials of a "student"
• Ability to work with vulnerable individuals
• Good communication skills (read/write English)
• Punctual and reliable

The starting rate of pay is $18.53 per hour , and the terms and conditions of employment are as per the Collective Agreement.
