Dietary Aide

Part time / Casual

It's an exciting time to join Golden Life as we expand our seniors housing, care, and services within Western Canada.

We’re seeking qualified, regular, part-time Dietary Aide Runner to join our Columbia Garden Village team. If you are a strong team player, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will have related experience and a passion for providing high-quality care and support for seniors.

Responsibilities include:

• Counting, weighing, and measuring ingredients for food preparation areas.
• Portioning and serving food and beverages in the dining room, and managing supplies.
• Delivering food to resident neighborhoods using hot wagons.
• Stocking resident kitchens with paper products, snacks, beverages, and staples.
• Preparing tables with items like napkins, placemats, utensils, condiments, and beverages before mealtimes.
• Preparing beverages and simple food items such as tea, coffee, toast, sandwiches, and salads.
• Washing, peeling, and storing vegetables and fruits.
• Assisting the Chef with meal portioning and service for special and catered events.
• Operating dishwashing equipment, stacking dishes, and setting and clearing tables.
• Using dispensing machines and reporting any equipment issues.
• Cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Replenishing and organizing kitchen supplies and beverages.
• Performing clerical duties such as answering phones and documenting menu information.
