Job summary

River Ridge Seniors Community in Medicine Hat, AB is seeking a Dietary Aide to cover evening shifts 4pm–8pm or alternate weekends 7am–3pm. The role supports mealtime service for residents, ensures cleanliness, and assists with regular and texture-modified meals under direction.

Ideal candidates are reliable, caring, and team oriented, with Food Safe certification or willingness to obtain it; healthcare or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality is an asset (but not required).
• Food Safe certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service for residents.
• Serve meals in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
• Support special diets and texture-modified meals as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and follow food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with cooks, dietary staff, and leadership.
• Help create a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents.
