Job summary

Caressant Care is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our care team in Ontario. This part-time role supports residents with nutritious meals in our long‑term care homes, ensuring dietary needs and textures are managed according to care plans.

You will work with a friendly team, follow safe food-handling practices, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment for residents across Ontario. Experience in long‑term care food service is preferred; bilingualism is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction.
• Good communication skills, able to read and write in English.
• Experience in long-term care food service is an asset, including texture-modified diets, therapeutic and production spreadsheets.
• Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position.
• Punctual and reliable.

The starting rate of pay is $20.95 per hour, and the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
