AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents' dietary needs and ensure appealing meals in a welcoming setting. You will assist with setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, and helping train new dietary staff.
Requirements include a Food Handler's Certificate, ability to lift heavy items, and a willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check. Prior food service experience with seniors is preferred.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere. As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. You will assist with the setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup of all meal services.
Food Handler's Certificate is required.
Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors.
Must have or be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for the majority of shift.
Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
Must be able to provide a current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check, including a Criminal Record Check, or be willing to obtain one.

Salary Range: $21.92 - $23.78 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
