Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in Mississauga. You will support residents’ dietary needs, help set up, serve meals, and assist with cleanup, while maintaining a welcoming dining atmosphere.

You will report to the Director or Dietary Manager and contribute to a high standard of resident care, cleanliness, and safety. Health benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Preference for experience with seniors.
• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in setup and preparation for service (beverages, salads, desserts).
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen and dining areas.
• Support catering and participate in special events and training of new staff.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere.As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
