Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in Mississauga. You will support residents' dietary needs by serving meals and assisting with meal setup in a warm, home-like environment.

You will help with tray delivery, dining table setup, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area while following health and safety procedures.

We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork; prior food service with seniors is preferred, and certification is required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Preference given to individuals with experience in the food service industry and working with seniors.
• Must be enrolled or have completed Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for the majority of shift.
• Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
• Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check or be willing to obtain one.
