A healthcare facility in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide. The role involves food preparation, service, and ensuring sanitary practices while interacting with patients. Do you thrive on variety and diversity of tasks and have great attention to details and instruction? If so, then this is the role for you, offering tasks in an assortment of areas including the preparation, service and distribution of regular and special diets and the handling of food in accordance with sanitary regulations for patients, visitors and staff. The dietary aide regularly interacts with patients through tray delivery and removal to nursing stations and patient’s rooms, assists in the cafeteria building rapport with internal and external visitors, and completes catering duties and ware washing responsibilities as a valued member of the nutrition and environmental services team.
