What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a valued member of the Retirement team, working in a fast-paced environment to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. Your role as a Dietary Aide involves ensuring a safe, clean environment and contributing to the culture of the home, focusing on helping residents live fully every day.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Food Preparation & Handling

• Assist with meal preparation and serving
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take menu orders from residents
• Set and clear tables in the dining rooms, ensuring they are sanitized
• Follow proper food handling techniques

Who You Are

• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain one
• Committed to providing compassionate support that enables seniors to live their lives to the fullest
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings is a plus
• Possession of a Food Service Worker Certificate is beneficial but not required
• Must pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia)
