Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is recruiting a Dietary Aide on a part-time basis at a Burlington residence. You will serve meals to residents and guests, set tables, and assist with tray service while maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.

Preference given to candidates with prior food service experience and senior care exposure. Must be physically able to lift items and stand for extended periods; VPS screening may be required.

• Preference for experience in the food service industry and working with seniors.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen/dining area as required.
• Assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events.
• Assist in orientation and training of new culinary staff.
