Carveth Care Centre has been providing quality Long Term Care and Assisted Living Services in Gananoque, Ontario since 1965.

Helen Henderson Care Centre offers seniors and Long Term Care residents quality care and services in Amherstview, Ontario.

We are currently looking for a part-time:

Dietary Aide

Qualifications:

  • Mature and in good physical and mental health
  • Able to relate to the needs of the elderly
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a brisk environment
  • Ability to organize workload and complete tasks within set timeframes, maintaining quality and quantity of work
  • Working knowledge of WHMIS
  • Long-term care dietary experience preferred, or other related food service experience such as waitress or food server
  • Food Worker’s Certificate (or enrolled in a program at the time of hiring)
  • Willingness to attend in-service training
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Canadian Police Information Check (CPIC) at their own expense.

This position is 25 hours per week (approximately 5.5 hours per day). Starting wage is $21.31 per hour.
