Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Sudbury is hiring a Dietary Aide to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You’ll serve meals with warmth, accuracy, and attention to safety. You’ll take orders, deliver tableside service, set up dining rooms, maintain clean areas, and follow health and safety rules.

Prior server or customer service experience is valued. Training is provided for Food Handler Certification; weekend and evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • Secondary School education or equivalent.
  • Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
  • Experience as server or in customer service role.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and attentive to detail.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
  • Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
  • Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
