Job Description

Working as a member of a customer focused team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the following : servicing and preparing food for patients; transporting and assembling patient meals on patient units; cleaning up of kitchen; disassembling trays;operating the dishwasher and putting away dishes. Other cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail required
• Good interpersonal skills requiredin order to interact with other Hospital staff and patients
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position - physically able to operate, load and unload the dishwasher and push heavy carts when transporting patient food trays to the floors
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
