Pay: $25.88/hour

As a Diesel Technician III, you'll assist with minor repairs and major component replacements under supervision, gaining valuable experience in vehicle maintenance.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist with removal, replacement, or adjustment of brakes, electrical components, and minor trailer maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area
• Use hand and power tools for repairs
• Assist with vehicle pickup and delivery

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of vehicle repair experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in an apprentice program and maintaining relevant registration
• Valid driver’s license (G or 5), with ability to obtain DZ within 6 months
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hand tools
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions and travel within the district

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 12kg regularly, up to 23kg frequently, and up to 45kg occasionally
• Visual and physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, and handling tools
