Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Brampton is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician apprentice to learn under experienced technicians.

You’ll work with modern equipment, receive hands-on training, and gain exposure to cutting-edge technology in a supportive environment. Under supervision, you will assist with brakes, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs while developing practical skills and a path toward advancement within Penske's network.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' practical experience with vehicle repair preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an apprentice program.
• Must maintain government registrations as required.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace or adjust brakes with supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance as trained.
• Assist with general mechanical repairs under supervision.
• Handle customer service duties as necessary.
• Pickup and delivery of vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Use hand and power tools to service equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil, batteries, lubricants).
• Raise trucks using jacks or hoists.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
