This role is responsible for:

• Maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements
• Experience in Engine and Drivetrain repairs
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance
• Performing inspections, diagnosis, and repair of Electrical, Hydraulic, Suspension, Brake, and Air systems
• Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks
• Able to utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and assign repairs
• Conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Completing required paperwork and maintaining records associated with repairs
• Working with a high degree of independence and with a high level of productivity
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with assigned customers and vendors
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing

Requirements for this position include:

• 5 years of diesel training and certifications
• Specialty and Manufacturer Training
• Class 3 license
• Automotive Diesel Experience, not needed but an asset
• Commercial Vehicle Inspection License
• Post Secondary Education
• Must have own tools and boots
• Proficiency in using mobile devices, navigation of mobile applications and email to document repairs and communication and the ability to learn new platforms
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, goal and growth driven
