Job summary

MasterTech in Dundas, ON is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5–8). This Shop Tech role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with start times between 6AM and 8AM.

The position provides an competitive hourly wage of $45.00–$46.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits, RRSP match, PTO and holiday time, and opportunities to work with OEM diagnostic software; welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed technicians (310T/310S) or apprentice.
• 4+ years of experience working on medium to heavy‑duty diesel trucks.
• Proficient with OEM diagnostic software.
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5–8).
• Collaborate with shop team to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all repairs.

This is a Shop Tech role, responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5 - class 8).

Compensation:

• $45.00 to $46.00/hour
