The Bayview Group is a full-service dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, with five locations in New Brunswick (Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Woodstock & Bathurst) and two in Nova Scotia (New Glasgow and Dartmouth). We are currently hiring for our Dartmouth, NS location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficient in repairing and diagnosing medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering, electronics, brake, and suspension systems.
  • Identify and order parts required for repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance services.
  • Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify repairs.
  • Complete technical reports accurately and promptly.
  • Work rotational shifts covering evenings and Saturdays, and respond to after-hours service calls in emergencies.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and cooperative attitude, work well in a team, and keep an organized workspace.
Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of College certification for Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician (minimum Block 3).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, in accordance with safety standards.
  • Willingness to continue training and obtain necessary licenses.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based software.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a service environment.
