Job description

The Bayview Group is a full-service dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment. We are currently hiring for our Fredericton location:

Key Responsibilities for a Technician:
  • Diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering, electronics, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Identify parts needed for repairs and disassembly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance services.
  • Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify repairs.
  • Complete technical reports from various manufacturers accurately and timely.
  • Work rotational shifts covering evenings, Saturdays, and after-hours emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and maintain a professional, positive attitude.
  • Keep an organized workspace and follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a College certification for Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician, minimum Block 3 completion.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, or as per provincial safety standards.
  • Willingness to continue training and obtain necessary licenses.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
  • Basic computer skills with Windows-based software proficiency.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a service environment.
