  • Experienced in DOT Inspections and diesel engine maintenance.

Overview

As a Diesel Mechanic at St. Louis Composting, you are the driving force behind the machinery that creates our rich compost, mulch, and topsoil.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Repair: Perform maintenance on tractor trailers and conduct DOT inspections
  • Inspect and Replace Parts: Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts such as bearings, pistons, and gears.
  • Overhaul Systems: Overhaul and test major components including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Manage Parts: Order parts, provide status updates, and document corrective actions efficiently.
  • Ensure Safety: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and professionalism.
  • Adapt and Assist: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.
