Job summary

Mader Group is seeking a DIDO HD Mechanic for opportunities in Fernie, BC, Canada. The role involves working on heavy equipment across open cut or underground mining sites, with a focus on maintenance, repair, and safety compliance.

Relocation is offered with a 6- to 12-month commitment; visas and flights may be paid. Overtime rates apply, and tooling is provided. Ideal candidates hold a Plant Mechanic trade qualification and have experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and other OEMs.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic is required.
• Experience on open cut or underground equipment with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, Atlas Copco or Terex.
• Willing to commit to 12 months in Canada; Australian/UK/Irish passport holders preferred.

What are we looking for?
