Work Schedule:

Part-time, per diem position, with hours as needed to fill staffing vacancies. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.


Pay: Work experience relevant to the position will be considered when determining the starting base pay.

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - X-ray to:

  1. Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
  2. Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems.
  3. Make quick, highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
  4. Serve as a clinical instructor for training programs and participate in educating other technologists and healthcare professionals, including clinical research activities.

Education:

Minimum: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.


Work Experience:

Minimum: Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred: Two (2) years of clinical experience.


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certification by an appropriate body (ARRT) and a valid Wisconsin Radiological License.
  • CPR certification required within three months of hire.
  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the role, certification within 30 months of hire.
  • Preferred certifications include radiology certification.
  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is involved: ARRT Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 1 year of completing orientation.
