Job Description: Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Vascular Instructor

Responsibilities:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Vascular Instructor is responsible for delivering quality instruction aligned with program and course objectives. The instructor should maintain an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and effectively convey workplace requirements to students.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Understanding of educational environments, especially adult learning needs
  • Ability to create a positive and effective learning environment
  • Knowledge of professional career paths related to the program
  • Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching

Credentials and Experience:
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Vascular
  • Registered Vascular Technology certification in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited institution (for Bachelors-level instructors)
Employment Details:

This is an adjunct, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours are scheduled based on course needs, generally under 25 hours per week, with no guarantee of hours.
