Company Description

IMCare is a specialist office providing personalized health care in the field of Internal Medicine, located in Cobourg, Ontario at the Northumberland Hills Hospital. With areas of interest including Cardiology, Diabetes, Vascular Neurology, Thyroid diseases, and Diseases of the Skin, the office is staffed by seasoned clinicians in practice since 1993. Open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, the office sees patients by appointment and referral only.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Cardiac) located in Port Hope, ON. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform day-to-day tasks including conducting ultrasound examinations, preparing diagnostic reports, collaborating with the medical team, maintaining ultrasound equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. The candidate will focus on cardiac imaging and provide accurate diagnostic information to aid in patient care.

Qualifications
  • Possession of ARDMS or ARRT certification
  • Expertise in Medicine and Radiology
  • Experience in Vascular sonography
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work independently and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Relevant clinical experience in a cardiology-focused role is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field is advantageous
