Position Summary

**Financial Support for Moving Expenses is available for this position**

Are you a registered Sonographer looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Sonography department.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians, and other health care professionals.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER, and Maternity services, including:

  • Acute Care
  • Internal medicine

  • Emergency department
  • Extended care
  • Pediatrics
  • Radiology
  • Obstetrics
  • Gynecology

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Current certification with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
  • Active membership in good standing with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
