Job summary

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in Collingwood, Ontario, seeks a Temporary Part-Time MRT to deliver high-quality radiographic imaging with patient-centred care and strong radiation safety practices. • Graduate of a recognized school of Radiography.
• Active member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and live the CGMH values and goals.
• Comply with Diagnostic Imaging department policies.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and report equipment issues.
• Ensure ionizing radiation safety and patient protection.
• Deliver efficient, caring radiographic imaging services.
• Perform imaging procedures with independent judgment and skill.
• Review patient history related to exams and adjust as needed.
• Maintain quality control and report equipment concerns.
• Contribute to training of new hires in the department.
• Participate in continuous education and LEAN initiatives.
