Job summary

Horizon Health Network is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Imaging Technologist 2 (DI02) in the Saint John area within the Diagnostic Imaging team. The role supports radiography procedures, patient preparation, equipment operation, image assessment, and related electrodiagnostic services under MSP guidelines.

The successful candidate must be registered with NB REG Tec and available for day/evening/night rotations, on-call and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists.
• May be required to have training to work in specialized areas.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and preparing patients for radiographic procedures
• Preparing and operating equipment
• Performing procedures in accordance with standards of practice
• Assessing images and responding appropriately
• Providing electrodiagnostic services (ECG, Holter) in some locations
• Using clinical information systems to access and maintain clinical records
• Assisting with quality assurance activities/initiatives
• Providing mentoring and support for DI staff, students and other health care professionals
