Compensation : $ 43.418 - $ 51.8609 / hour

Successful external applicants may be eligible to receive a one-time Signing Bonus of $10000. In turn a Return of Service will be required for a (2) two-yearperiod. This position also qualifies for a Relocation Allowance of $5000.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Quality and Clinical Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and indirectly accountable to the Director of Diagnostic Services and MMGS and to DIs Radiologist in Chief the DI Quality Coordinator is responsible for the development operationalization and monitoring of quality processes and initiatives under the direction of the DI Leadership Team. The DI Quality Coordinator will collaborate with the DI Operations Manager Quality and Safety committee and divisional team leads to facilitate and champion quality and safety in Diagnostic Imaging as required to ensure an effective and efficient Quality Management System (QMS). The DI Quality Coordinator will be expected to manage and analyze quality data including non-conformities and safety incidents identify and facilitate quality improvement initiatives and in collaboration with IWK Health departments and other stakeholders support all DI divisions in achieving their quality and safety goals. The DI Quality Coordinator will be a resource and subject matter expert for all DI staff related to meeting all quality system essentials. The DI Quality Coordinator has a range of accountabilities for dimensions of quality : accessibility safety continuity of services effectiveness efficiency and client-centered focus to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence in DI services.
