Job summary

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist to join their team. Job description

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
  • Current registration with College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO);
  • Minimum three (3) years of related imaging experience with progressive responsible experience in a tertiary care centre;
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering programs in mentorship, education, orientation, best practice, or communication;
  • Certified in CPR;
  • Skills in quality assurance and quality control;
  • Ability to perform procedures to competency, certification, and professional practice standards;
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor;
  • Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent reading and writing skills to support patient care and documentation;
  • Excellent computer literacy skills;
  • Strong conflict resolution, investigative, decision-making, time management, and organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in English and French (oral and comprehension, advanced level);
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field and/or advanced certification.
