Position Overview

Join Alberta Health Services as a Medical Physicist at the new Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center in Calgary, Alberta. Provide clinical support in a state-of-the-art facility and contribute to a provincial team with extensive influence. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support clinical services and perform quality assurance.
  2. Conduct equipment commissioning and develop new techniques and protocols.
  3. Collaborate with clinical practitioners, medical physicists, operational leaders, Radiation Safety Officers, researchers, and academic staff.
  4. Engage in research, publish papers, and mentor future clinicians in Diagnostic Imaging and Medical Physics.
Qualifications and Compensation

Members of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (MCCPM) certification can expect a salary range of $143,875 to $192,536. Fellows of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine can anticipate a salary between $166,474 and $222,780.
