THE ROLE:

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated DFx Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team fosters continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate career development.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are eager to learn and take on challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain tests for functional and performance verification at the core level
• Build and enhance testbench components to support next-generation SoC designs
• Maintain and improve test libraries to support SoC-level verification
• Create hardware emulation builds to verify SoC functionality and performance
• Improve the existing hardware emulation environment to reduce runtime and enhance debugging capabilities
• Collaborate with and provide technical support to cross-functional teams

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog/Verilog
• Experience with Python or Perl scripting is a plus
• Background or experience in computing or graphics domains is a plus
• Prior experience with DFx methodologies and verification is a strong advantage
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
