We are seeking a DevOps Specialist/IT Administrator to join our IT Operations team. This hybrid role involves managing AWS infrastructure, refining CI/CD pipelines, and supporting application deployment. The candidate will collaborate with teams on projects in data centers, enhancing system reliability and development workflows, contributing to Olameter’s success in the utility and energy sectors.

Location: Hybrid position reporting to Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS), including networking and security configurations.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement and manage AWS SSO, IAM roles, and user permissions for security.
• Refine CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, focusing on mobile app workflows.
• Manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Enhance monitoring and observability using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
• Support security compliance, including SOC2 accreditation.
• Collaborate with software teams supporting .NET, Angular, and Python applications.
• Analyze and optimize infrastructure and application performance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS), networking, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and security management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 3 years in DevOps or related roles, with experience supporting .NET, Angular, and Python applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and machine learning workflows using Docker.
• AWS or Azure DevOps certifications are a plus.
