Job Description : Project Overview :

The client is seeking a skilled DevOps Specialist to support the enablement and integration of DevOps services across cloud and on-premises environments. The role will focus on operational service delivery, environment design, CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps implementation to support agile-based development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments to continuously enhance service delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders and product owners to understand service requirements and define deployment strategies.
  • Participate in discovery and technical user research related to infrastructure and operations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines across hybrid environments.
  • Develop standardized CI / CD pipeline templates and documentation.
  • Integrate automated security scans and quality checks using tools like SonarQube, Veracode, etc.
  • Architect and provision infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Automate environment setup, configuration, and deployment strategies (e.g., blue-green deployments).
  • Manage IAM, RBAC, and SSO integrations including Azure AD and B2C.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Kibana, or Elasticsearch.
  • Conduct diagnostics and tune performance for operational health.
  • Build self-healing operations using messaging platforms like Azure Service Bus or AWS SNS.

Maintenance, Evaluation & Optimization

  • Coordinate service maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate and optimize system performance and reliability using data insights.
  • Mentor teams on DevOps tools, patterns, and practices.
  • Develop onboarding frameworks and support documentation.
  • Contribute to innovation and proof-of-concept initiatives using emerging DevOps tools and cloud technologies.
  • Other Duties

  • Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with service delivery and DevOps objectives.
  • Mandatory Requirements :

    Education

  • Post-secondary degree / diploma / certification related to DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience (Minimum 5 Years Each) :

  • Implementing cloud and hybrid environment security.
  • Developing and deploying solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Leading hybrid cloud / on-prem data initiatives.
  • Managing enterprise production services.
  • Working on cloud-based development projects.
  • Nice to Have Experience (5+ Years Preferred) :

  • Working with cloud computing or big data platforms.
  • Leveraging cloud services for solution delivery.
  • Implementing containerization, orchestration, and IaC.
  • Defining and communicating solution architecture.
  • Additional Notes :

  • Equipment Provided : Laptop or Virtual Desktop by GoA.
  • Remote Work : Fully remote; work must be performed from within Canada.
  • Onsite Meetings : No travel expenses covered.
