DevOps - Middleware (Jboss and WebSphere)

Activities associated within this job family include (but are not limited to):

• Perform application deployments (automated or manual) on products ranging from Public Cloud solutions to Internal TD deliveries within Private Cloud or Physical hosting.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of products across all environments as part of the delivery team.
• Design, build, implement, and maintain automation for building, installing, and deploying code packages, artifacts, and configurations.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements / Accreditations :

• College / University degree or equivalent work experience.

Other Qualifications / Skills / Experience :

• 6+ years in the IT technology field.
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux OS environments.
• Knowledge of web-based technologies and database management best practices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy and maintain CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Salt, Terraform, Jira, Confluence).
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes / ECS.
• Version control experience (Git, Bitbucket, MKS).
• Experience in agile environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and judgment skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of TD ITS practices and tools (asset).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
