DevOps - Middleware (Jboss and WebSphere)

Activities associated within this job family include (but are not limited to):

1. Perform application deployments (automated or manual) on products ranging from Public Cloud solutions to Internal TD deliveries within Private Cloud or Physical hosting.
2. Lead end-to-end deployment of products across all environments as part of the delivery team.
3. Design, build, implement, and maintain automation for building, installing, and deploying code packages, artifacts, and configurations.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

• College / University degree or equivalent work experience.

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 6+ years in the IT technology field.
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux OS environments.
• Knowledge of web-based technologies and database management best practices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Salt, Terraform, Jira, Confluence).
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS.
• Version control experience (Git, Bitbucket, MKS).
• Experience in agile environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and judgment skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of TD ITS practices and tools (asset).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
