The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

The Engineering Operations team builds and operates the infrastructure, observability, and automation systems that power our engineering environment. This role joins the Services team, a platform team that owns StackAdapt’s observability stack, the ECS platform, and internal workflow platforms used across engineering.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Operate and improve the infrastructure platforms the team owns, including observability, services hosting on AWS ECS, and workflow orchestration services used across engineering.
  • Build and maintain scripts, tools, and processes that reduce manual effort and improve system consistency.
  • Maintain and upgrade these platforms across development, staging and production environments..
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and support requests from other engineering teams.
  • Partner with engineering teams to help them use our platforms well, from deployment and configuration to monitoring and alerting.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues from first report to root cause, and elevate early when a fix crosses team boundaries.
  • Help keep our platforms reliable and cost-efficient as usage grows.
  • Write runbooks and documentation that help on-call engineers, AI Agents and other teams solve problems on their own..
  • Make task-level implementation decisions, elevate ambiguity early, and incorporate feedback to improve EngOps execution.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • A solid understanding of core DevOps tools, systems, and practices, coupled with the initiative to ship consistent, high-quality work.
  • The ability to execute tasks independently while managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and AWS services such as ECS, IAM and networking.
  • Working experience with observability in production: metrics, logs, tracing and alerting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to build trust with the team and influence positive outcomes.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
  • An awareness of security and privacy, system design, and strategic thinking within an operations environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with advanced observability tools (such as Prometheus or Grafana) and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
