The Cyber, Security, Risk & Controls organization primarily functions to improve how we own, assess, manage, and report technology risks, while ensuring that we have strong technology risk expertise, employ the concept of risk management as a utility – operationalizing for efficiency, and move us to progressive risk management based on data and analytical processes.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will develop, implement, and improve automation tools to support continuous improvement initiatives across Global Wealth Asset Management Investment Operations functions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • To enhance investment operations workflows - design, develop, and maintain custom applications and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate and ensure seamless connectivity between Power Platform components and other Microsoft services.

  • REST API integration and Windows PowerShell Scripting.

  • Collaborate with team members to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.

  • Work with Investment Operations and other internal/external teams on process and production updates and issues relevant to completion of tasks at hand.

  • Conduct detailed testing of applications and workflows to ensure quality and reliability.

  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of Platform solutions, ensuring they meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.

  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide training and support to end-users to increase the adoption and effective use of Power Platform solutions.

  • Develop documentation and user guides to support solution implementation and usage.

  • Stay informed of the latest Power Platform features and updates, recommending improvements and optimizations.

  • Aid in the functional and technical capability development of the team.

  • Ensure procedures are updated and lead the annual procedure exercise.

  • Stay informed to relevant industry development and market-specific knowledge.

  • Participate in learning and development program to advance skills and knowledge in the Power Platform ecosystem to ensure continuity of service and capability development.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years+ of relevant DevOps experience.

  • Investment domain expertise and deep understanding of PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to create efficient and scalable solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of partners across the Global WAM Investments Operations group.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
