Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer I in Montreal to join a dynamic software team. You will implement, maintain and monitor systems for building software projects, their continuous integration and delivery, configuration management, deployment, backups and security.

You will enhance build configurations using MSBuild and CMake, manage package distribution with Conan and Artifactory, and contribute to disaster recovery and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including IT-related subjects.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Python programming language.
• Preferred: Experience with build systems: CMake and MSBuild.
• Preferred: Knowledge of continuous integration systems: GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Preferred: Experience with software component distribution: Conan and Artifactory.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of security tools (e.g., code scanning, vulnerability checking).

What We\'re Looking For:

As a DevOps Engineer I, you will work as an individual contributor, as a member of a software development team or within a specialized DevOps team. On a daily basis you will implement, maintain and monitor all systems required for building software projects, their continuous integration, continuous delivery, configuration management, deployment, backups, disaster recovery, license protections and security. In case of web-based or cloud applications, may also work on assuring the highest possible up-time, load balancing and cost optimization.

- Réaliser des tâches de petite et moyenne envergure dans le cadre de l\'intégration continue et de la livraison continue de produits et composants logiciels à l\'aide de systèmes dédiés (GitHub et GitHub Actions).

- Mettre en œuvre des améliorations ou extensions mineures pour les packages distribuables et assurer la distribution de composants logiciels (Conan, Artifactory).

- Créer des plans de sauvegarde de base et participer à leur mise en œuvre.

- Comprendre les procédures de reprise après sinistre.

- Participer à la mise en œuvre de mesures de sécurité pour les produits logiciels.

Minimum :

Pay Range:

$67,120.00 - $100,680.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
