What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
2. Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of systems on that infrastructure
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines
4. Build and manage containerized applications
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 10+ years of software engineering/development experience
2. 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience
3. Experience designing and deploying solutions to cloud environments (AWS)
4. Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform or similar)
5. Experience with RDBMS systems, including managing schema evolution, migration, replication, and disaster recovery (MySQL or similar)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting tools (WireShark, TCPDump, SNGrep, nslookup)
2. Awareness of compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, CCCS)
3. Experience with developer tooling (Artifactory, Sonar, Gradle)
4. Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack or similar)
5. Knowledge of secure coding practices and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS)
