Devops engineer

GENERAL

• Excellent communication skills
• Establish good working relationships with developers and other key stakeholders
• Very good at problem solving and pattern recognition
• Identify and remediate potential problems proactively
• Assume technical ownership; maintain standards and consistency throughout multiple environments
• Create thorough documentation

MUST HAVE

• Advanced understanding of Linux OS internals, optimization and troubleshooting in a Production Environment
• Advanced knowledge of Apache, optimization and troubleshooting in a Production Environment
• Advanced bash scripting

ALSO IMPORTANT

• Good understanding of source control systems such as Git
• Good understanding of automation platforms such as Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
