Job description

Job Type : Contract to Perm (6 months potentially extendable)

Primary Location : Hybrid Toronto or Montreal (Bilingual if Montreal)

We currently have multiple opportunities for DevOps Engineer supporting a client partner in the Insurance sector. The professional is required to provide support to various project teams on environments, helping Data Scientists, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, BA, and QA with requests such as troubleshooting errors, access control, monitoring, alerting, patching, and other operational support.

Job Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience with CI / CD and automation tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, in cloud environments like AWS (Mandatory)
• Extensive knowledge and experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, Data Backup, AWS Backup
• Good understanding of Data Science, Data Engineering, AI Engineering including CI / CD (GitHub & GitLab), Kubernetes, and ELK
• Experience with Security Hub, PrivateLink, Disaster Recovery, Cost Explorer, workspace, jobs, clusters

Nice to have :

• 12 years of management experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks is highly recommended
• Experience with Prisma Cloud
• Experience with Dynatrace

Tools / Software / Methodology / Certifications :

• Cloud certifications for AWS, Snowflake, Databricks
