Job summary

Capgemini in Toronto, Ontario seeks a DevOps Engineer to help build and deploy scalable applications across OpenShift and Azure AKS environments. You will leverage Docker and Kubernetes, implement DevSecOps practices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Maven, and Angular.

Candidates should be comfortable with Git-based workflows and release methodologies, with a focus on scalable, secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and deploying applications to OpenShift and Azure AKS.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments, services, HPA, etc.
• Exposure to DevSecOps tools such as Aqua Scan, Snyk, etc.
• Experience working with DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions, Maven, Angular)
• Experience with code merging and branching methodologies using Git and the code release process

Description - Core Skills & Experience

• Experience managing and deploying applications to OpenShift and Azure AKS
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including components such as deployments, services, HPA, etc.

Nice To Have / Additional Skills

• Exposure to IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana
• Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 63,700 to 90,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
