Who we are
You know those big cities that still feel like small towns? Where everyone’s friendly and helps each other out? That’s like Doane Grant Thornton. Except here we’re all professionals and there isn’t a mayor or a general store. What we’re trying to say is that we’re a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That’s what’s most important to us. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.
We are seeking motivated and collaborative DevOps Engineers - from early-career professionals to seasoned experts - to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role to help design, build, and maintain Azure cloud-based tools and services that support our software development lifecycle. You’ll contribute to the automation of infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, operations, and project stakeholders—to ensure the seamless and reliable delivery of high-quality software solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
Whether you're just starting your DevOps journey or bringing years of experience, we offer opportunities to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact.
As a DevOps Engineer (depending on your experience level), responsibilities may include:
• Collaborate in a cross-functional technical environment to support the development and maintenance of scalable, cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Assist in or lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Integrate test automation and code quality analysis tools into the DevOps lifecycle to ensure secure and reliable software delivery.
• Support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) DevOps processes, including solution deployment and environment management.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in on-call rotations (as applicable).
• Participate in or lead efforts to modernize legacy systems using cloud-native technologies.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to support team knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices in DevOps and cloud engineering.
