Job Description

Teledyne Integrated Imaging Solutions (IIS), a division of Teledyne, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machine vision digital cameras. Our cameras are vital components in the fast growing, transformative industries of robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, virtual reality and medical/life sciences.

We are looking for an 8-month term Development Operations Engineer Co-op . The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to work independently, and willing to learn. The successful candidate will be working closely with other Engineers, who will be available to provide guidance and answer questions.

Detailed Description:

  • Install and maintain existing continuous integration servers, build slaves and other software tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and other supporting infrastructure to assist in build processes.
  • Automate monitoring reporting of test runs and failures.
  • Maintain test infrastructure, including hardware configurations.
  • Improve current release, build and testing processes to match best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2nd year University student (minimum) in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science field
  • Must be currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution
  • Experience with any scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, DOS batch)
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with continuous integration servers (Jenkins)
  • Experience with source control and issue tracking systems (SVN, Git, JIRA)
  • Experience with UNIX and multi-platform build systems (make, CMake)
  • Experience with configuration management frameworks (Chef, Ansible)
  • Comfortable working with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Comfortable working with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps)

Salary Range:

$36,100.00-$48,100.000
