Job & Responsibilities:

• Implement DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code.
• Automate manual, tedious tasks using innovative methods and tools.
• Develop strategies for existing services and future architecture through technology exploration.
• Maintain production systems, troubleshoot customer-impacting issues, and resolve outages.
• Enhance skills with access to the latest technology resources.
• Innovate during outages and transform legacy applications into platforms for experimentation.
• Expose problems openly and turn challenges into learning and team-building opportunities.
• Prioritize team interests and collaborate effectively.

• 5-10 years of experience with a passion for automation; less experienced candidates are also welcome.
• Mastery of Linux across various distributions.
• Proficiency in automating tasks using languages like Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and code management tools like GIT; familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with tools like Wireshark.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; a good sense of humor is a bonus.

Additional preferred qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• Certifications such as Security, Linux Administrator, or Engineer.
• Ability to write and debug applications in Java, C++, Python.
• Deep knowledge of editors like EMAC vs VIM.
