The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is seeking a Developmental Assistant at Thomas D'arcy McGee School for a 10-month term, 35 hours per week. This role supports students with exceptional needs through planned programs and skill development.

Qualifications include a Developmental Services Worker diploma or related program, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and teamwork. Salary ranges from $49,117 to $52,809 with prorating if part-time; benefits offered accordingly.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

• Developmental Services Worker diploma, Nursing, Health Sciences or an equivalent program;
• 2 years of related experience;
• CPR and First Aid;
• good written and oral communication skills;
• initiative and commitment;
• and the ability to work as a team member.
• Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

This is a 10-month permanent position with an annual salary range of $49,117 to $52,809 ($32.63 to $35.08 hourly)(to be prorated if part-time hours). A partial, or full employee’s benefits package is also provided, depending on the hours. Part Time Developmental Assistants are system hires based on staffing allocations from Student Services and the hours may change from time to time.

The start date is approximately November 4, 2026.
