Job description

The Role:

As the CTC Development Vehicle Fleet Specialist, you will be primarily responsible to schedule and coordinate updates to development vehicles based on requested hardware/software levels from a variety of CTC engineering teams. To accomplish this, you will work closely with the central reflash team, working to become the CTC subject matter expert on controller reflash and the CTC single point of contact for reflash related issues.

What You’ll Do:

Schedule and coordinate updates to vehicle based on requested hardware/software levels from engineering teams

Support engineering with adhoc controller software flashing for specific tests.

Build standard and custom archives to support testing, troubleshooting and debugging.

Manage and distribute controller reflash tools and practices including development and upkeep of SOW.

Train and support the CTC Product Assurance Garage Technicians in controller reflash related activities.

Single point of contact for development vehicle owners to ensure seamless execution of development vehicle related processes such as:

  • Development Vehicle Usage Levels (DVUL)
  • Vehicle Software Configuration Management (VeSCoM)
  • Safety Critical Software (SCS) process
  • Functional Safety Integration Engineering Liaison (FSIE)

Support Development Vehicle Testing configurations including:

Design, build, troubleshoot, and repair of production and non-production wire harnesses.

Design as required Testing Instrumentation and related test harnesses.

Install, configure, maintain data acquisition tools.

Support Unattended Vehicle Testing including integration configuration and maintenance of vehicles before and during testing.

This role will require the successful individual to be onsite at each of CTC's 3 locations.
