The Gallery's celebrated exhibitions, extensive public programs, and emphasis on advancing scholarship focus on historical and contemporary art from British Columbia and around the world. Special attention is given to Indigenous artists and the Asia Pacific region through the Centre for Global Asias, founded in 2014. The exhibitions explore the impact of images in visual culture, design, and architecture.
The Gallery's new Art of Wellbeing lab promotes community engagement by exploring the role of art in fostering health and wellbeing. Developed with healthcare professionals, researchers, and Indigenous Elders, it creates opportunities for individuals to engage with art to support mental, emotional, and physical health.
The Vancouver Art Gallery is supported by members, donors, corporate funders, foundations, and government agencies, including the City of Vancouver, BC Arts Council, and Canada Council for the Arts.
The Gallery believes creativity is fundamental to an open and engaged world. We are seeking a Development Officer to bring your experience in fundraising to one of Canada's leading arts institutions in downtown Vancouver.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the successful candidate will manage the fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge), support administrative functions, ensure data integrity, process tax receipts, generate reports, and support budget tracking. You will collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain systems, provide reports, and support donor programs.
This role contributes to the success of the Development team and the Gallery's strategic goals.
Candidates should have a University degree in a related field and 3-5 years of experience in data administration within a non-profit fundraising environment. Additional requirements include:

Salary: Pay Grade 23, Step Range: $32.46 - $38.00 per hour.
